School Reintegration Support
Returning to school after time away—whether due to medical leave, mental health challenges, or personal circumstances—can feel overwhelming for both students and their families. We specialize in supporting students through these transitions with empathy, structure, and a clear plan. Our role is to help students reintegrate into a classroom setting, providing them with a scaffolding that will ensure success, build confidence, and prepare students to independently tackle future academic hurdles.
The first weeks and months back in the classroom are crucial to lasting academic success. These early days have the capacity to be either encouraging or deeply demoralizing. This is why we believe it is so important to set up support systems for students confronting these challenges: assignment tracking, study skills, planning ahead. We help your child take ownership of their work and consequently their successes, imbuing them with confidence and self-esteem going forward. We are your one-stop shop for executive functioning coaching, subject support, and test preparation. But these are not one-size-fits-all approaches: we adapt our strategies to meet each student where they are—academically, emotionally, and developmentally.
We’ve worked with students navigating:
Anxiety and depression
Eating disorders and recovery
Substance use recovery
School avoidance
Other mental or physical health-related absences
What We Offer:
Gentle, consistent academic support focused on rebuilding routines
Planning and organizational help using students’ current coursework
Coordination with school counselors, teachers, and learning specialists
Transitional planning for returning to full-time schoolwork or managing a reduced load
College counseling and application support
Whether your child is preparing to return to the classroom or is already back in school and feeling overwhelmed, we will bridge the gap between where they are and where they want to be.
