Who We Are
Madeline Bogert is an experienced educator specializing in personalized instruction. A Yale graduate with a B.A. in History with distinction, she brings both academic rigor and warmth to her work.Madeline began her career at a literacy nonprofit, where she discovered a passion for helping young learners build confidence and foundational skills.
Since then, she has worked with students across Los Angeles, tailoring her approach to each learner’s unique style, goals, and needs. She supports students in reading, writing, and analytical thinking, while also guiding them in executive functioning skills such as time management, organization, and goal-setting.
Her tutoring experience includes ISEE prep, college application support, and AP courses including U.S. History, European History, World History, and English Literature and Language. She has also developed curricula for independent study students. Madeline is committed to helping students find their voice, build independence, and thrive academically.
Daniel Froot is a seasoned tutor and college consultant with years of experience at top-tier tutoring firms. A graduate of Horace Mann and Wesleyan University, he earned a B.A. in Film Studies and Hispanic Literature and received high honors for his original TV pilot about the New York theater scene.
Daniel draws on his background as a writer and producer in theater and indie film to bring a creative, student-centered approach to his work—helping students take ownership of their academic growth. He tutors all sections of the SAT, ACT, ISEE, SSAT, and SHSAT, as well as Spanish, English, history, math, science, and executive functioning.
Daniel also advises students on college applications and essays; one of his students even had her Common App essay published in The New York Times. He specializes in supporting students returning to school after extended absences and has successfully homeschooled students during those periods, working closely with schools to ensure academic continuity and smooth reintegration.
